Alpacas have been domesticated for some 6000 years. They look like a long-haired shaggy Llama, with thick, soft fur that covers their eyes. Alpacas produce a fine cashmere-like fleece, once reserved for Inka Royalty.
The fur is being sheared and spun into the finest wool, which is than used to create distinguished clothing designs, scarves and also hats.
We have managed to purchase a small batch of these scarves for a great price directly from Peru, and are passing the saving on to our customers.
